London 2012 Olympics

The WOO team lead an approach that looked to challenge and reassess all preconceptions of the Games - only to build what we had to build and only to commit to projects that would leave a lasting legacy. This would not be an overblown event but an exceptional one that was delivered at appropriate scale and always with our immediate context in mind.

Over £8.7 billion was invested in permanent infrastructure, ranging from the Olympic stadium and the largest urban park in Europe for 100 years, to an entirely new residential neighbourhood of 2400 new homes.
